Rented a car through Hertz and had a terrible experience. Upon arrival to pick up the vehicle, I paid a mandatory deposit of €100. I was told this amount would be fully returned if I brought the car back with a full tank and no damage. I returned the car on time with a full tank and no damage. The drop-off was without the presence of any Hertz agent, and I even sent pictures of the vehicle to confirm its perfect condition. The €100 should have been returned. Weeks later, the €100 has not been returned. Hertz kept the charge without cause. They have not communicated anything to me to suggest the car was not okay or that there was any reason to retain the money.
