To whom it may concern, if you are reading this review for the board of directors who can financially invest in Limerick: once we were only a dot on the map, but with different cultures coming in, it is getting bigger and hopefully better. I am writing this review on the council side because I am grateful for the development of the Opera House, which will be great for Limerick. However, the downfall is there is no shopping, plus no cheap or free car parking facilities. There are far too many eating places and restaurants; what we really need is a variety of clothes shops. I remember as a kid we had Bewley's Coffee House, which should never have been removed from Limerick, probably as a landmark. My wish is for whoever reads this to do something for Limerick, because I don't even go into town anymore—there is nothing eye-catching for me, which is really sad. Also, just to mention, over twenty years ago we had the Savoy cinema; Limerick needs a new cinema for the city. Thank you for reading my review. Kind regards, Shirley Rooney. Rating: 3/5.
